It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear friend and Old Collegian, Mr Peter Webster Wilson, ONZM (1938-2023). 

Peter attended King's College from 1952 until 1956 as a boarder in School House. He was an active and involved student during his time here and served as both a School House Prefect and Tennis Captain in 1956. 

As an Old Collegian he was an enthusiastic supporter of the College.

Peter served as the Secretary/Treasurer of the KCOBA from 1965-81, and also as the President of the KCOCA from 1983-84. 

In 1981 Peter was awarded an Honours Tie for services to the College and the KCOCA; and he was made a KCOCA Life Member in 1994. Peter also served as President of The Foundation and was a member of the King's Oaks. 

Peter Wilson was a well known and greatly respected member of our College community and will be greatly missed. 

Peter's funeral was held at King's College in the Memorial Chapel on Thursday 25 May, 2023. It was attended by a large congregation of his family, friends and associates.
