Queen's Birthday Honour for David Ellis

We are delighted to announce that Old Collegian David Ellis(Averill.1967/70) has been recognised in the recent Queen's Birthday Honours List and has been appointed as a Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit(CNZM) for his services to Horse Racing In New Zealand. David is Principle for the Te Akau Stud and Racing Stables in New Zealand and Singapore and is a significant leader in the New Zealand horse racing community. He has previously been awarded the Outstanding Contribution to Racing Award in 2017 and together, with his wife Karyn, is also one of the patrons for the Waikato Riding for the Disabled. We send our heartfelt congratulations to David for a recognition well deserved. |
